09 — International Sales & Distribution

A film deserves
an audience.

We represent selected independent shorts, features and documentaries for festival circulation, international sales and distribution, with a particular focus on films produced in Iran and collaborations with Persian-speaking filmmakers. Each film needs a considered route to its audience.

Positioning

Festival strategy

Film assessment, a targeted festival shortlist, submission calendars and premiere planning. We coordinate submissions, programmer communication and screening materials around premiere eligibility, exclusivity requirements and the film’s wider release plans.

Representation

Sales & licensing

Buyer outreach and discussions with distributors, broadcasters and digital platforms. Theatrical, non-theatrical and educational opportunities are considered where appropriate. Available territories, media rights, term and release windows shape each film’s representation.

Release

Materials & delivery

Private screeners, English-language synopsis and filmmaker biographies, director’s notes, stills, artwork, trailers and press kits. Subtitles, screening copies and technical deliverables are coordinated against the festival’s or buyer’s requirements.

A clear basis for collaboration

Festival services and sales representation can be agreed separately or together. Before work begins, we define the scope, territories, rights, duration, approved expenses, commission and reporting and settlement arrangements in writing.

For documentaries, relevant cultural, educational and community screenings can form part of the audience strategy. Our aim is to strengthen a film’s international prospects; selection, awards and acquisition remain decisions of the festival or buyer.

For filmmakers & rights holders

Submit a film
for consideration.

Send a private screener and password, preferably with English subtitles. Include the synopsis, format, runtime, production country, year, language, director, producer and production company. A rough cut is welcome when its completion status is clearly stated.

Tell us about previous screenings, online availability, premiere status, pending festival submissions, existing representation and available rights and territories. Add your name, role, contact details and what you want to achieve. Share a trailer and press kit if available; large master files are only needed when requested.
